The 2025 4Runner is equipped with convenient features like power windows and a moonroof to enhance comfort and ease of use. Whether you're letting in fresh air or adjusting your windows on the go, here’s how to operate these features.

Power Windows (pg. 177–180)

The power windows in the 2025 4Runner are controlled via switches located on the driver's side door. The system allows for easy operation of all windows in the vehicle:
  • Window Switches: Each window has a corresponding switch for operation.
  • Auto Up/Down: Press the switch fully to open or close the window automatically. A brief press will stop the movement.
  • Safety Feature: The system has an auto-reverse feature to prevent injury if something obstructs the window's path during operation. If an obstruction is detected, the window will reverse direction.

Power Back Window (pg. 180)

The rear window can be operated using a dedicated switch on the driver’s side door panel:
  • Operation: Press and hold the switch to raise or lower the back window.
  • Safety Note: Ensure nothing is obstructing the back window before operation to avoid damage.

Moonroof Operation (pg. 182)

The moonroof can be tilted or fully opened for ventilation and a panoramic view:
  • Open/Close: The moonroof is controlled by a switch located on the ceiling above the driver. Press the switch forward to tilt and backward to fully open the roof.
  • Safety Feature: Like the windows, the moonroof has an auto-reverse function to prevent injury from obstruction. Ensure the roof is free from debris before use.
