How To Activate Toyota Kick Sensor

I recently spent about 20 minutes at the dealership trying to figure out how to activate the kick sensor on my new 2025 4Runner. Surprisingly, none of the sales staff knew how it worked. After some trial and error, I discovered that the kick sensor is located on the right-hand (passenger) side of the rear bumper, which is a change from previous Toyota models where it was centered.
