The 4Runner sounds are identical to the Tacoma. Just look at and Tacoma video and you'll get the same results

Heck yeah. Got one of these going on my 4G. Will be installing it soon. Can't wait! Love that clear cover too. Great idea.

Just installed ours, love it.

Major upgrade over stock, offering better airflow through a larger airbox and a high-flow dry filter. It also features a unique QuickSnap magnetic lid that makes filter access tool-free and hassle-free, while still fitting cleanly like OEM. One unexpected bonus: you can now hear subtle blow-off flutter through the intake, noticeable but not overwhelming, sitting at about a 4–5 sound level out of 10 compared to the Trailhunter’s louder snorkel setup.
