Fuse Box Locations
There are three main fuse box locations:- Engine Compartment – Type A
- Engine Compartment – Type B
- Driver-Side Instrument Panel (Interior)
How to Check & Replace a Fuse
- Turn the engine switch OFF
- Open the appropriate fuse box cover
- Use the provided fuse puller to remove the suspect fuse
- Inspect the metal strip inside:
- If broken: The fuse is blown
- If intact: The fuse is good
- Replace with a new fuse of the same amperage rating
- Reinstall the lid securely
Fuse Types
There are four fuse types:- Type A & B: Mini blade-type (owner replaceable)
- Type C & D: Special fuses (dealer service only)
Safety Precautions
- Never use a fuse with a higher amp rating than specified
- Don’t bypass fuses using wire or other objects
- If the new fuse blows again, have the vehicle inspected immediately
- Always determine the cause of the overload before replacing the fuse
