Just got the new OG-style Alpharex NOVA Series headlights for the 6G, and they're pretty sick. Not many options exist for the 4Runner yet, but these are a pretty stunning housing. Ultra black internals, clean amber or white DRL tube, and all the modern features you want in a modern housing.
Shout out to Customs Unlimited for letting us test these out.

Features
- Ice Cube 3D projectors (the classic Alpharex look)
- Osram Black Chip low beam LEDs
- LUXX LEDs for the high beam
- Sharp LHD compliant cutoff
- Startup animation
- Sequential amber turn signals
- Bright DRL tube
- White or amber DRL option
Low and High Beam Output
Low beams are the star of the show. Super clean cutoff, great hotspot, and actually useful light on the road without blasting oncoming traffic. Way better than stock. High beam works fine, but it is not the highlight of the housing. It is brighter, but not a massive jump.
Ice Cube Projectors
If you have ever run Alpharex before, you already know the cube projectors are their signature look. The 6G version looks even better.
Startup + Sequential
Even without wiring in the fuse tap, you still get the white startup animation when the headlights kick on. Fuse tap only changes when it plays… not whether it plays.DRL Tube
The amber DRL looks killer on the 6G, especially with matching amber fogs or backlights. White DRL option if you are going for a clean OEM look. Either way, it completely changes the front end.
Final Thoughts
If you want the best-looking and best-performing low beam available for the 6G right now, the NOVA OG style for the win. High beams are fine, but the low beam and DRL are what make these worth it.
