I normally like the Nguyen bumpers, they look great on 5th Gen 4Runners, and the 3rd Gen Tacoma rear is clean, well thought out, and honestly one of my favorites in that category. But this 6th Gen rear just isn’t doing it for me. The lines feel a little disconnected from the body, and the proportions don’t match the rear quarter the same way their 5G 4Runner stuff does. At the end of the day, if I’m trying to build the best 6G I can, I’m running Dissent every single time. Their fit, finish, and overall design language just match what I want out of a bumper: high clearance, proper departure angles, strength without excess weight, and a clean OEM forward look.

Dissent is my lean as well. From seeing their tire mounts and other options that i do not need immediately but I can add later on. the modularity makes sense to me.

We're big fans of this new Dissent rear bumper. If you're looking for something with well-thought-out strength/design for off-roading, Dissent makes some of the strongest bumpers on the market. They also offer a wide variety of swing-out options for different accessories. All of their products are very straightforward to install and just offer insane strength/quality at the end of the day. We have a 6th Gen 4Runner TRD Pro shop build, and we're likely installing the Dissent bumper. It's just in a league of its own. No one else makes anything even close to the level of detail that Dissent does. Nguyen Works makes some killer designs, though. We love their stuff here at StellarBuilt. We install a lot of their bumpers on the 5th Gen 4Runner and 3rd Gen Tacoma.
