OTT Tune and Thoughts

I installed the OTT tune on my 4Runner Hybrid as my very first mod at just 80 miles, and honestly, it’s been a night and day difference from the stock tune. The throttle response sharpened immediately, and the power now comes on so smoothly, the 4Runner finally drives like it should have from the factory.

One of the biggest improvements for me was how much gear hunting was reduced. Passing on the highway is effortless, and the entire driving experience is more confident and refined. It feels like the transmission shifts more naturally, and the turbo spools up quicker, delivering torque immediately.

If you’re hesitating, trust me, this is hands down one of the highest-impact upgrades you can do on the 6th gen 4Runner Hybrid and seriously the best bang for your buck. It completely transforms both daily driving and highway cruising. I couldn’t be happier with the results, no regrets at all.

Does it improve on the eco profile at all on the hybrid? I know our hybrid systems are setup more for power than efficiency, but I'd love for the "Eco" mode to do what it says and boost our MPG when we aren't towing or trail riding.
