This question is for 6th-Gen owners who bought a non-hybrid.

I'm curious about the throttle response curve for the gas engine on the 6th-Gen. With my 5th-Gen, the OEM throttle response curve looks something like this:

In other words, the throttle response is very limited at first, and the throttle must be pressed down quite a bit before the engine really revs up and accelerates.

I hated that sluggish acceleration, and found that adding a Sprint Booster made the throttle response curve more linear like the graph below -- what I consider "normal" (i.e., like all the cars I've ever driven):

I no longer have to push the throttle nearly to the floor to get decent acceleration. My 5th-Gen is immediately responsive as soon as I press the accelerator, and feels surprisingly peppy.

So... my question: what is the throttle response curve for the 6th-gen gas engine? Is it like the 5th-Gen, or is it more linear like other vehicles?

Similar to normal cars. I ended up tuning mine and adding a sixth element CPLT intake and has a similar response to my old 2016 Audi Q5.

Thanks! What tuning did you do beyond the CPLT intake? How much difference does intake make in cabin noise?

Sixth element. I installed it last week and barely have driven the car (I live next to my firm building). It's not insanely noticeable in the cabin unless you have windows down or music off. I'm going camping this weekend I can update after that, apologies.
