Just installed the ShiftPower USA throttle enhancer on my 2025 4Runner and… wow. Night and day difference in throttle response. The 4Runner was great before but this woke it up even more.
The lag from a dead stop or when trying to pass is basically gone. It doesn’t add power, but it makes the throttle feel way more alive and snappy — like the way it should’ve felt from the factory.
Install took maybe 10 minutes. Plug-and-play, super clean, and you can control everything from the app. I’ve been running it in Drive with like 10% most of the time, but it has a ton of adjustability if you want a milder or more aggressive feel. Sport+ was WAYYYY too much I also liked the valet mode and also the lock out mode to kill all throttle input.
Not a tuner, but definitely a solid mod if the sluggish throttle has been bugging you. Check my video below.
