Finished my sleeping platform for my 6th gen TRD Off Road and tried out this mattress. Boy does it fit up nicely! This Lost Horizon company makes mattresses for truck beds, and this one that is made for a Taco with a 6ft bed fits like it was made for the 6G4R Off Road. At $229 bucks (with the pump) it's a steal, and it is plush at 4 1/2 inches thick. I was able to acheive full inflation even without it, but the pump works like a champ to deflate down nicely. (so I would recommend it if just for that) The bag is oversized by quite a bit, so there is plenty of room in it if you don't want to deflate down super tightly. I was skeptical because it was so cheap, but the quality out of the box seems amazing. I'll have to see how it holds up over time. The platform is a copycat I eyeballed from photos online. The company that sells this type/version charges $500. With the tools I have, I opted to pay the cost of a cabinet grade sheet of 3/4" plywood.
I have bulit some storage boxes/drawers with the nice locking ball bearing slides for friends of mine for their rigs, but I like the way this design goes in and out quickly and is alot less heavy. Two long storage totes slide right underneath in the middle and the subfloor lifts easily if to access the sides or any other nooks and crannies of storage/stash. I haven't finished it out yet, but so far I am VERY pleased.
