If you're planning to sleep in your 4Runner or if you're just looking to level out the cargo area, BamBeds just released their 6th Gen 4Runner leveling platform. They have two options for the 5th Gen 4Runner: the leveling platform and the "Bam Bed" - a higher elevated sleeping platform with storage underneath. The leveling platform is smaller, lighter, and is designed to be used as a sleeping platform with minimal storage underneath (around 3").

You can leave it in the 4Runner full time if you need a level surface from the cargo area to the back seats, or take it out anytime. Can be swapped in and out in under 5 minutes, the pieces just connect together, and you set it down. No hardware or installation process.

Designed specifically for the 2025+ 4Runner, the fitment is very precise on the sides, and it's adjustable from the fold-down seats to the rear hatch with about 2" of room to move forward or backward.

Basically, a fully removable, non-intrusive sleeping surface while still allowing full seat functionality when needed.

Starts at $529.99 for the Birch version pictured here and goes up to $700+ for the Bamboo version.

Check it out: https://bambeds.com/products/leveling-platform-4runner-25

  • Tailored Fit:
Built to match the cargo area dimensions of the 6th Gen 4Runner for a secure and stable fit.

BamBeds makes really nice stuff. Not cheap, but it's the highest quality sleeping platform on the market for the 5th Gen. We sell quite a few of them at the shop.
