Trailhunter Quirks

Hey gang,

I have a 25' Trailhunter with just over 5k miles on it. I absolutely love this car but it does have a few quirks I'd love to hear your input on.

1. Beeps. I wish there was some way to make it stop beeping. I'm an early riser, usually up before anyone else at home and/or when camping and cannot stand all the noise it makes. For example, opening and closing any door while the engine is running while parked. Or opening and closing the rear door. It beeps every time you close the rear door. I've searched and searched to no avail. There is no way to turn off the beeping feature as far as I can tell. If I could find/access the speaker, I'd love to disable it completely or pull the associated fuse. Open for suggestions.

2. Interior lights on the rear door and just inside the cargo bay. When the rear door is open, there are at least 4 very bright lights that turn on and as far as I can tell, no way to turn them off. They stay on even for extended periods of time, never turning off. I "fixed" it by applying gaffers tape over them which works, but would love to disable them somehow either by fuse or removing the LEDs.

3. The air compressor / dc power outlet. Was hoping to run a Bluetti or some sort of battery back there which would trickle charge off the dc power outlet located next to the air compressor. Unfortunately, it only runs when the dedicated power switch is turned on and as far as I can tell, would need to be turned on every time you start the car. There's another dc power outlet in the front of the car below the ac which would work, but would much prefer using the rear one.

Don't get me wrong. I absolutely love this vehicle. Off road capability is insane, it takes me where I wanna go, and am overall happy with this car, but would love to hear your thoughts on workarounds and or remedies for these quirks. Thank you all in advance.

I feel you on number 3. We were doing a road trip from Virginia to montana and having to push that button every time I turned on the car was annoying.

Gaffers tape fixes anything. I dont have a trailhunter but the beeps drive me crazy when camping as well.

I wonder if there’s a way to disengage the fuse responsible for the beeps.
