Finished my sleeping platform for my 6th gen TRD Off Road and tried out this mattress. Boy does it fit up nicely! This Lost Horizon company makes mattresses for truck beds, and this one that is made for a Taco with a 6ft bed fits like it was made for the 6G4R Off Road. At $229 bucks (with the pump) it's a steal, and it is plush at 4 1/2 inches thick. I was able to acheive full inflation even without it, but the pump works like a champ to deflate down nicely. (so I would recommend it if just for that) The bag is oversized by quite a bit, so there is plenty of room in it if you don't want to deflate down super tightly. I was skeptical because it was so cheap, but the quality out of the box seems amazing. I'll have to see how it holds up over time. The platform is a copycat I eyeballed from photos online. The company that sells this type/version charges $500. With the tools I have, I opted to pay the cost of a cabinet grade sheet of 3/4" plywood. ;) I have bulit some storage boxes/drawers with the nice locking ball bearing slides for friends of mine for their rigs, but I like the way this design goes in and out quickly and is alot less heavy. Two long storage totes slide right underneath in the middle and the subfloor lifts easily if to access the sides or any other nooks and crannies of storage/stash. I haven't finished it out yet, but so far I am VERY pleased.

Yeah from the measurements I knew it would work, but I was stoked with how snug it ended up. I tossed it in a let it self inflate for like 45 minutes before I went back to look at it. I don’t know how quick it snapped back into shape, but after 45 it was good and didn’t need topping off. I’m 6’ and 215 and when I laid down on it and gave a voice there was zero bottom out. It if it holds up under use then it’s certainly a gem for us 6 Gen guys that go this route.

looks great! Please share some pics from the first road trip.

Finally got around to final fit and finish on the sleeping platform. Painted all the panels and applied a rubberized top. 22” inch wide toolbox liner material fit just perfect and applied easily to the surface with contact cement. Final step was apply 3/4” rubber edge banding to complete the finish.
