Available Driving Modes
The 2025 4Runner comes equipped with a Drive Mode Select system that allows you to choose from several different driving modes:
The instructions on how to turn off Eco Mode are located in the 2025 Toyota 4Runner Owner's Manual, specifically in the section on Driving Mode Select (pg. 412). You can disable Eco Mode by adjusting the Eco Mode settings through the Driving Mode Select switch.
Press the "DRIVE MODE" switch to activate the system.
Select the driving modes on the multi-information display by turning the mode select switch left and right.
Eco Mode is one of the available driving modes. To disable it, select a different driving mode, such as Normal Mode. This mode provides an optimal balance of fuel economy, quietness, and dynamic performance, and is suitable for city driving.
By selecting Normal Mode, Eco Mode is effectively turned off.
