Full Width Front Bumper Options for the 2025+ 4Runner (Buyers Guide + Discussion)

The 6th Gen 4Runner is still new, and there aren’t many full-width bumper options available yet. I wanted to start this thread to track what’s out now and what’s coming soon. As more companies start building for this platform, we can keep adding them here.

Right now the list is short, but I’m genuinely excited to see what shows up over the next few months. If you spot a new bumper or prototype, drop it below and I’ll update the post.

Why You’d Want a Full Width Bumper

Full-width bumpers replace all the factory plastic and extend across the entire front end from fender to fender. They’re built for protection first and give you mounting points for a winch, shackles, and extra lighting. If you spend time on the trail or just want your 4Runner to have a more rugged look, this is the route to go.

They do add weight and require major trimming, but that’s part of the tradeoff for better strength and clearance. For anyone building their truck for real off-road use, a full-width bumper makes a huge difference.

Full Width vs Low Profile

A full width bumper gives you the most coverage and strength, but it’s heavier and changes the look of the truck more. A low-profile bumper keeps the stock lines and saves weight while still offering recovery points and a winch mount.

If you’re more focused on keeping a cleaner daily driver setup, a low-profile bumper might be a better fit. I made a guide for those here:

Current Options

Dissent Off-Road Full Width High Clearance Front Bumper

Dissent_Front_Bumper_Full_Width.jpeg

Dissent Off-Road has been in the game for quite some time, manufacturing armor for many makes and models. They manufacture everything right here in the USA for Toyota/Lexus applications. Dissent is known for quality... from their harnesses to relocation kits and sensor placement testing to very well thought-out design/functionality, they have always somewhat stood above the rest when it comes to quality. They are not going to be the cheapest or fastest option, but you will be extremely happy with the purchase at the end of the day.

4RunnerMods has a blog post showing the features: https://4runnermods.com/blogs/mods/...t-high-clearance-front-bumper-6th-gen-4runner

CBI Offroad Full Width Bumper

CBI has confirmed a full width version is in the works. They already have the prototype on their new build which you can read about: HERE
This bumber looks similar to their Classic Series from the 5th Gen with steel construction, integrated winch plate, and optional hoops. It’s not out yet but has been teased on social media.

Lil B’s Custom Fab Full Width Front Bumper

Lil B’s was the first company to release a true full width bumper for the 2025+ 4Runner. It’s a plate and tube hybrid design with a built in winch mount, recovery points, and space for LED pods. It’s made to work with the factory TSS sensors and comes raw or powder coated. You can read more about this bumper: HERE

Final Thoughts

Right now Lil B’s is the only full-width option you can actually order, but CBI’s version should follow soon. Once more companies release designs that work with the 6th Gen’s sensors and body lines, this list will grow fast.

If you see a new full width bumper or have first hand experience with one, post it up so we can keep this guide updated!

Do you need RAGO skid plates to match up to that or does the OEM TRD skid work?

.

You will need our skid plate to match up to it. We have one in the works that we are building specifically for TRD Pro and Trailhunter (since the flares are bigger on the sides - we want that to line up correctly). I don't have all the fitment details on that one yet, though.
