Dissent Off-Road just launched their Low Profile Front Bumper for the 2025+ 6th Gen 4Runner.

Although it's not ready yet, they will be out at Overland Expo Mountain West this year in the Air Down Gear Up Booth. If you want to check it out and you're at the event, swing by the ADGU booth and check it out. They will have this bumper in addition to their new rear bumper, which they just launched as well. If you haven't seen their rear bumper yet, take a look. https://6thgen4runner.com/threads/f...per-for-6th-gen-4runner-dissent-off-road.914/

Dissent Off-Road Front Low Profile Front Bumper (Specs and Features):

Weighing in at only 54lbs and made of steel, this is going to be a killer option for the 6th Gen 4Runner.

The bumper features recessed soft shackle compatible recovery points, and of course, D-Ring (bow shackle) compatible as well, Baja s2 cutouts, recessed and vertical winch fairlead, highlift jack points, winch clutch access, and should fit most 8-12.5k winches.

What do you guys think about this bumper compared to the other options on the market?

Thanks for posting! We are excited about this one!
I personally am not typically a fan of the center mount only bumpers but we know they are popular so we decided to try and build the best one out there! This thing is packed with features and design aesthetic that is typically not available in the low pro space and I must say we are stoked with how this has turned out! Stay tuned for more details, we should have pricing and availability in the next couple weeks.

I thought i had a plan for my front bumper, but this one is making me rethink that plan. I like the winch access and the S2 mountings as opposed to a light bar. And 54 lbs? That might be the tipping point.

Let me know if you have any questions.
The one I am assuming you are looking at has zero access or visibility to the winch with a light bar installed. If you plan to install a winch and use it that is a no go in my opinion.

I know there aren't a lot of options available right now and I may have inadvertently taken a pot shot at a couple of them. However, I have to say, this looks really good. I will be interested to see price and availability at launch. I feel like you will be busy building these. I also really liked your rear bumper and would be interested to know about camera relocation and how that will effect the 360 degree camera.

Yet again, another stunning bumper from Dissent Offroad. We've been running Dissent on many of our builds for years. Hands down, our favorite armor to run. Well thought-out designs, incredible functionality, lots of integrated options, etc.

You can't go wrong with anything from @Dissentoffroad.

Looks really good! I like how the surface of the bumper is more tucked and recessed for the fairlead and shackle. Light placement looks great.

@Dissentoffroad will the production bumper have the holes for the badge on both sides? Also what are the cutouts just above the fairlead and shackle? Design feature or are those functional for any reason?

Appreciate the kind words! We absolutely love working with you guys!

Thanks! The holes will only be on one side.
The slots above the fairlead are for viewing the the winch drum when spooling the winch.

We will have more details soon but we do relocate the camera and it works with the 360. Die to the new location there is a little weirdness in the 360 view but still 100% functional and usable. The new digital camera system on all these new Toyota platforms is tricky but we are one of the few if not the only bumper manufacturers that have taken the time to figure out how to integrate them into our products.

Looks awesome, can chance you are making an aluminum version?. 52 pounds is really heavy hanging out on the front of the truck

52lbs is nothing for a front bumper. Most low-profile bumpers on the 5th gen were 75-100lbs. Full width front bumpers are usually 100+ lbs, and that's a light weight bumper. Any full-width steel bumper, on average, is about 125-150 lbs depending on bull bars, hoops and general design. 52 lbs is crazy light.

Cant wait for this, said id keep the trail hunter "stock" but this is too nice. Is there a list to get on for when it releases?

I don't want any avoidable weight either. 52lbs is 52lbs I could have used for something else. The weight of other bumpers on other trucks is completely irrelevant. I don't want to have to mess with the suspension. I don't want to add even 1lb to the factory weight if I could. So I also would like an aluminum option. Also because I'm in nj where everything steel rusts.

Personally I don't want recovery points or a winch either. The factory tow hooks are fine, and I just want a bumper that can take a little more hit than the plastic. I've already dented the plastic on a trailer tongue and just want to replace it with something metal that can take a small hit or easily be repaired.
