I feel like it's low profile front bumper week. Dissent off-road just released their low profile front bumper, and now this...

I still kinda like the look of the Dissent bumper with the dual Baja light cutouts but huge recessed portion on this one looks pretty good too. WHat are your thoughts guys?

Out of the three low profile options, what are you taking?

They quote "Weighs the same as the factory front crash bar, adds zero weight!" Curious to see what that crash bar weighs... Does anyone have an OEM crash bar just laying around that they can weight? lol

The green lane looks great and quality look great as well!
I’ll have to weigh the factory crush bar. I would guess it’s about 35lbs. Ours weighs 54lbs so roughly a net gain 20lbs or so. I don’t have the prices fully nailed down yet but I think we are going to be hard to beat with the features we offer and the price point we are shooting for 😉

Yeah, I doubt they were able to get their bumper under 35lbs, but it does look like a hybrid design. Aluminum shell with steel frame mounts. Curious to see if that thing actually weighs out to 35lbs. Even so, not sure I'd run aluminum right there. I would probably opt for steel since it's stronger and the weight difference is negligible... especially on these new platforms that have plenty of power.

Aluminum is a great option for some. Personally I think steel is a better option on a low pro as with it being so low it will naturally take more hits offroad than a high clearance bumper. Certainly great to have options though!

I want aluminum and will give up strength because NJ rust.

I would love to see an aluminum option for bumpers from you guys though! Id rather save more weight if possible as I don't do crazy stuff and don't mind if i take some hits on aluminum but If steel isn't a crazy jump in weight then of course im up for that as well.

Ours in steel is roughly 20lb gain over stock so not bad.
