I just tested the TRD Pro lightbar on the 6th Gen 4Runner and was kind of shocked at how odd the light output is. You would think that a center-mounted lightbar puts out light towards the center of the vehicle and provides distance lighting... nope. The TRD Pro light bar provides ditch lighting.... haha. The output literally lights up the sides of the road vs. direct forward-facing output. That is not what I expected. Light output shots below with the lightbar off and then the bar on.
In order to run the TRD Pro lightbar, you have to have your high beams on.
Such a weird pattern and spread. Guys with the pros, chime in and let us know if you have the same experience.
