I’ve been thinking about picking up the Taco Vinyl door skins for the 6th gen 4Runner. They’re vinyl overlays that go on the interior door panels to protect against scuffs and scratches while also giving the doors a different look.
They come in a bunch of designs like topo maps, stripes, and camo, and they even make versions for both JBL and non-JBL setups. The installation looks pretty simple: clean the panel, stick them on, and hit them with some heat to set them. I am not the best with vinyl and struggle with putting screen protectors on so I wonder if I drive to Boise if they do installs.
Don’t get me wrong, most people will be fine just leaving the stock panels, but if you’re climbing in with boots, hauling kids or dogs, or just want to add some style inside, these seem like a good option.
