This is my system I pulled from my rav4 and am in the process of doing all the boring stuff like running wires etc for the 25 4runner. Now I am pulling signal from the hu. I'm using the pac apty14 which sends an optical signal to my dsp. However like many u don't wanna cut oem wires and want to use a harness to get as much signal as I can particularly the front doors. I'll most likely run new wire from the 4runner tweeters and midrange drivers up front and let the oem jbl amp control everything else like rear doors, oem sub, and the 2 rear cargo door speakers bc tbh I fade mostly front. I see many pac harnesses but this car is so new there's not much out there. Tacotunes solution may work with their harness and simply tap those leads but I haven't heard back from them yet. Anyone have any advice on a harness? I saw b4 a post that mentioned what previous totora/Lexus harnesses the 2025 4r jbl is similar to but I just can't find the post. Anyways any help would be great. Thanks

Yea I never had the real estate to go big so when I had the rav I went nuts. Its a dc audio level 5 with some addons. Eventually the aftermarket places will release a beefy alternator for the 2025 but rn sub is seeing 3k which is pretty conservative for this driver.

This brings me back to my High School days of 12" subs and removable head units!

I think I got stuck in those days. I've done full iasca builds where the car was dedicated just for audio and it gets to be too much. I started this build to have some fun with the rav but the wife all of the sudden wanted to pull the chain on the 4runner. I almost wanna scale down but I just finished this monster a month ago. The whole thing pulls out using 2 0 awg Anderson quick connectors but I didn't account for the weight of it so its pullout with assistance lol. The whole system is a 6 channel for 3way, 2 monoblocks for the sub, and a small 300w mono for a front sub, 10 channel dsp, and a small lithium bank.

Tacotunes reached out to me but gave a vanilla like answer in that they are making a harness (to tap leads b4 the jbl oem amp)but nothing out yet.

Honestly the oem jbl sounds pretty good. What it lacks is proper door deadening and control that goes beyond treble, mid, bass as well as the fun bass and when l finally get tired of the no space 18 I'll probly go back to a smaller setup; 6ch with dsp built in like an audiocontrol d6.1200 and my ac monoblock feeding the "built up" oem jbl subwoofer enclosure. I see that happening sooner than later but jeez I just finished this setup and was meant for a different car.
