NEW 6th Gen 4Runner Brake Squeal TSB T-SB-0046-25

Looks like Toyota has finally made a TSB for the 6th Gen 4Runner and Land Cruiser 250 brake squeal issue that many people have been having. This loud screeching of the brakes comes from the front end of the vehicle typically while having the vehicle in reverse. Check the photo to see the full TSB.

But it looks like Toyota will be replacing front brake pad kits and also the shims under warranty of course.

Had my “repaired” under the TSB protocol.was quiet for 10 days , not back to the screeching!! This is NOT a fix!! The dealership says that Toyota will probably have to MODIFY the existing TSB! This is bulls—t

Be Aware!! This is not a fix. Rotors need to be replaced with the pads and kit , like they did with the Tundra.

They did eventually change my rotors, but with the same part#rotor and naturally the screeching returned
