Anyone cross shopping the new 6th Gen 4Runner and Land Cruiser 250? The 4Runner starts at about $40K whereas the LC starts at around $56K. Bother models will be very bare bones, but the LC will have the hybrid i-force and also 4wd with center and rear locking difs. To get 4wd and a rear locker on the 4R you are around $50K for the TRD OR. When full spec'd out the 4R and LC are both knocking on the door of $70K. The 4R to me, is a better driving experience than the LC is due to less wind noise and throttle response. The LC does have a nice higher roof line though so it feels a little more spacious and also has its identity instead of looking like a Tacoma SUV. Thoughts?
