2025 4Runner TRD Off-Road Prinsu Rack 42 inch Amber Light Bar

This 2025 4Runner TRD Off-Road came into 8Runner Off-Road for some practical upgrades focused on utility and lighting. The owner wanted a clean roof rack setup that could carry gear while also housing a light bar for better visibility on the trail.

We set it up with the Prinsu Original Rack featuring a light bar cutout, paired with a 42-inch slim amber LED barwired to an OEM-style switch inside the cabin. The result is a low-profile system that blends with the 4Runner’s lines while adding both storage options and functional lighting for dusty or low-visibility conditions.

@8RunnerOffRoad, does the Prinsu wind deflector sit right on top of the roof paint or does it have a slight clearance? What about the rest of the rack?

Once loaded, hoping there is enough clearance tolerance. Granted this is the selling point of the rack having that nice low profile look.

I was looking into the Original Prinsu rack for my ORP but worried about the low profile rack scratching the paint .

There was another thread with the Wescott rack clearance and causing damage to the roof .

When you get a chance, let us know.

Debating to go with Prinsu or OEM 3/4 ARB, since I also have the concern with the moonroof.
