6th Gen 4Runner Dual Compressor or Switch Mounting Bracket (Multi-Mount)

Finally wrapped up the ARB dual compressor installation using this mounting bracket from SLEE. Compatible with the 4th Gen Tacoma, 6th Gen 4Runner and 250 Land Cruiser.

SOK2105 - ARB Compressor / Multi Mount

  • Fits ARB Single (classic & brushless) and Twin compressors (classic & brushless).
  • When using ARB twin compressor the ARB manifold kit and Pump Up Kit is recommended
  • Stainless Steel

Install Notes

The bracket itself is incredibly well designed. SLEE uses clip nuts throughout the whole design, which makes the installation incredibly simple. You dont have to mess with bolts, nuts and two washers at every point, just insert the clip nuts and bolt everything down. All the brackets drop into place for a pretty quick relocation of the primary ECU and transmission ECU. The best part about this bracket is that it is incredibly universal. You can mount an ARB classic dual compressor, brushless, single compressor, or any of your preferred switch systems; SwitchPros, Auxbeam, etc. SLEE offers a specific bracket for the SwitchPros (https://sleeoffroad.com/products/sok2108/). The little details really make this bracket; well thought out zip-tie points for the ARB harnesses, mounting points for ARB compressor switch, mounting point for the ARB QD fitting, clip mounting points for the factory harness, and enough play with the clip nuts to make mounting very easy.

SLEE provides really dialed installation instructions for the bracket install portion, but you're on your own for the compressor wiring installation. Thankfully for you, I put together a super detailed installation guide of the wiring process on Trail4Runner.com.

Also, a few notes on the JIC fittings vs. NPT fittings. If you want to mount the ARB QD coupling to the SLEE bracket, you need the ARB JIC 4 coupling - not the ARB NPT coupling. The JIC 4 coupling has a locking collar on the lower threads, and the NPT does not. That said, just make sure you're running the correct fittings throughout.

ARB JIC coupling:

I had to revise my installation a little bit because the ARB JIC coupling I bought off Amazon was bad - it was leaking air. I decided to disassemble the fitting to troubleshoot it, and there was a metal shaving between the center ball valve and the rubber o-ring, causing the leak. After removing the shaving and reassembling the fitting, it was almost impossible to realign all the ball bearings with the spring... so I had to switch everything to NPT fittings I had lying around. I do recommend the JIC fittings though... easier, faster, and more serviceable.
