We have yet to see a new 4Runner (prototype) running anything less than an 18" wheel. Both the TRD Pro and Trailhunter were sporting 18s and the Limited had some 20s. I believe though that we should be able to fit some 17" wheels on it just like we can the new 4th Gen Toyota Tacoma. I am running a 17" Relations Race Wheel on my new Tacoma with a +12 offset. The bolt pattern is the same with this new 4R as it is for the Tacoma, so a good bit of wheels from the past and present should work for it.

The only con though if you have an older set of aftermarket wheels on a 5th Gen that you were hoping to use on the 6th Gen, is the offset may be too aggressive. This new 4R has a wider track than the last gen so a negative or even a zero offset wheel is very aggressive with poke depending on tire choice.

It's this way on the new Land Cruiser and Tacoma, where the popular wheel offset choice is a +25 right now for a pretty flush look with 12.5 wide tires. I'm curious to see what everyone runs in the future! Can't wait to see it.
