How To Use The 6th Gen 4Runner Backup Camera Washer System on the TRD Off-Road Premium. Is this the most overkill backup camera washer you have ever seen or what? Although it's cool, I don't really think it's a feature I'll use that much. I've never had a problem with my 5th Gen 4Runner camera being too dirty, and if it is, I just use my side mirrors. The new camera washer almost creates more of a mess than it's worth. If the truck is already dirty, it's not that big of a deal, but if the 4Runner is somewhat clean, it just gets washer fluid everywhere - and that stuff can eventually stain your paint if you leave it on there long enough.
