After 33 years of the 5 speed transmission, we say goodbye in the only fashion that would be appropriate... With the outgoing 5th Generation 4Runner. All other car makers moved on to 8 and 10 speed transmissions and now with the 6th Gen 4Runner, it is safe to say that the 5 speed is done. What is your experience with the 5 speed? Are you going to miss it? Are you excited for what is to come with Toyota innovation?

Don’t know how I feel about this new engine setup. The former was definitely of the “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” mantra. Looking forward to seeing how it performs!
