Well, we just hit 5K miles on our 2024 Land Cruiser. This vehicle has the I-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain that I plan to get with my upcoming 6th Gen 4Runner. So far it has been a trouble free 5K miles (powertrain wise). Prior to the lift and tires about 500 miles ago, we were averaging 22 combined MPG and now with the 34” tires and Westcott lift we are at about 19 combined MPG. I hope this new 4R is just as good if not better.

Any concerns over potential "first year" issues? I'm excited by the new lineup, but there's always that anxiety of becoming the beta test group for the new goods.

appreciate you sharing the 5K milestone update on the drivetrain Jon. I'm sure alot of us, like myself, are keeping a close eye on the LC and Tacoma owners who've been putting miles into the drivetrain for some indication of what to expect out of the 4R. Had my deposit in since April and hoping this first run of the i-force max in the 4Runner has all the kinks worked out!
