The wait for the 6th Gen Toyota 4Runner is almost over—sort of!
At a recent SEMA Garage event, Toyota reps confirmed the official production timeline for the highly anticipated new model. However, there's a twist: the hybrid and non-hybrid variants will have staggered starts.
Non-Hybrid Models:
Production kicks off in December 2024, including the SR5, Limited, TRD Off-Road, and Sport trims.
Hybrid Models:
Expected to begin production around February 2025, with the Limited, TRD Off-Road, TRD Pro, Trailhunter, and Platinum trims.
The non-hybrid models must begin production this year due to model year regulations, while the hybrid models are slated to follow soon after. Expect dealer deliveries to begin 1-2 months after production starts, with around 100,000 units anticipated in total. Stay tuned for more updates as we approach these exciting launch dates!
