Had a 4th gen V8 for about 20 years, which often towed a good size travel trailer up & down the Rockies - zero driveline issues in nearly a quarter of a million miles! Had to sell it (mileage made wife nervous) and got a GX460 to replace it. Now considering the 6th gen's towing ability (for both myself and a relative).

Just got a 2025 4Runner trd off road. Traded in my 2023 trd off road premium. I’m hoping these new engines will turn out to be just as reliable as the 5gen, but only time will tell.
