Brake Squealing in Reverse

Hello,

I’m reaching out to see if anyone has experienced brake issues when reversing out of park? For some reason mine tends to do that. I took it to the dealer and they weren’t able to fix the problem. Please share if you’ve experienced the issue and what you did to fix it.

I have the TRD Sport and occasionally when backing out of my garage I do have a brake noise, like a squel. It goes away before i can move more than 20 ft. In reverse.

If you ask your dealer to dig deep they will find it. There’s a brake shim fix that they will honor. Likely will need to order parts. Mine is supposed to fix it at next oil change. Call first to make sure they didn’t use the parts for someone else.
