While the roll-down rear window is one of the top distinguishing features of the 4Runner, I was just thinking, if I get a 4Runner, how will I mount my rear-facing dash camera? It normally mounts via adhesive to the window itself.

Has anyone installed a rear-facing dash camera (even on prior generations since they would have the same dilemma) using some sort of bracket that I guess would adhere to the trim pieces either above or below the window? I think if you mounted it from above, the image would be upside down.

From a quick google search, looks like they made some aftermarket options for the 5th gen

Thanks for that. Wonder if the same bracket works on 6th gen.
