Squealing breaks on my 2026 TRD OFF-ROAD when in reverse

I have squealing front brakes on my 2026 TRD OFF-ROAD when backing up. I know that Toyota has a Technical Service Bulletin (T-SB-0046-25) released for the 2025 6th Gen 4Runners and the 2024-2025 Land Cruiser. Does Toyota have a phone number that we can contact to report and have annotated the issue so when a TSB is issued for the 2026 4Runner the dealer can order the parts. I appreciate any information.

Follow-up to my post. I contacted Toyota Brand Engagement Center (1-800-331-4331) today and was informed that there is a Technical Service Bulletin (T-SB-0006-26) for the 6Gen 2026 Toyota 4Runner for the front brake squealing. The cooperate office opened a TAS case for me on my 2026 4Runner at my dealer and informed me that the dealer will contact with me within a day to setup an appointment to inspect the brakes, I also videoed the issue with the squealing brakes.

Mine had only done it a few times, so hopefully it isn't a big recurring issue. Time will tell. Keep us posted on what you find out!

Mine did it once or twice then never again. I don't know if it was because the day before I had washed it but haven't hear it again in months.

Washing the tires and rim with a pressure washer might help

I contacted Toyota Brand Engagement Center at 800-331-4331 and explained my issue with the front brakes squealing and they checked and a TSB (Techincal Service Bulletin was issued (T-SB-0006-26) for 6GEN 4Runner. They contacted my Toyota dealer and coordinated an appointment for they to inspect my 4Runner. I recorded a video with the squealing brakes to show the service manager, because it never fails that when you want to duplicate an issue it never does when you are at the dealer for the problem. Once at the dealer the service that was done was replaced front pads, disc brake shim kit, anti squeal fitting kit, disc brake caliper. So far no more squealing of the front brakes.

My Toyota app currently doesn't show any recalls or service bulletins on my 2025 6Gen. It is probably for a certain group of the 6Gen production.
