Hey everyone,

New here to the forum and excited to be part of the community!

I recently picked up a 2025 4Runner TRD Off-Road. So far, I’ve added a Prinsu roof rack, rooftop tent, K&N 63 series intake, and a set of Toyo Open Country R/T Trail tires (I'll add pictures with the new tires soon) and I’m looking to get into some overlanding and trail runs around Minnesota. I’m based in the St. Paul area and would love to link up with any local groups or folks who get out for camping, wheeling, or general exploring—whether it’s a weekend in the woods or a full-blown overlanding trip.

I’m not on Facebook, so I figured I’d check here to see if there are any clubs, meetups, or group chats for MN area based drivers.

Along with the new rig, I’ve also got an ‘86 Pickup SR5 and an ‘06 4Runner SR5. So if you’re local and want to connect, I’m all in.

Appreciate any leads or invites thanks!

Hey man! Welcome. I'm in Illinois. Not too far from Minnesota. Best bet for some decent camping/trails would be in Michigan, from my experience. The UP portion has a pretty solid selection and great scenery.

There's lots of trails and camping in the northern 3rd of MN. Im more looking for a group to go out with. Thanks for the information though! I definitely need to hit up the UP for sure!
