While I was at the Toyota Jamboree in Gilmer Texas, I was able to get the new 2025 4Runner TRD Pro & 2024 Land Cruiser First Edition side by side for a comparison. I did a full review on my YouTube if you are interested in the video, but here are some quick bits from the video I wanted to share.

The Land Cruiser First Edition is a bit cheaper than the out going 200 series we had here in the USA. This new 250 series has shrunk a tad in size and also in MSRP. This new top of the line First Edition comes in around $70K. We all also have a bad feeling that the new 4R TRD Pro will come in around the same price too. Both are very similar in size from the exterior. Currently we don't have interior dimensions of the 4R.

The 4Runner interior is a carbon copy of the Tacoma. Fortunetly for us, the quality of it seems to be a bit better than the Tacoma due to materials used.

The Land Cruiser has its own distinct interior, which I personally like alot. The soft touch materials used and also the amount of them, make the LC seem a bit more premium over the 4R.

The 4Runner TRD Pro gets some 33" Toyo Open Country tires wrapped around some matte black TRD wheels.

Where as the LC gets some lesser aggressive Michelin tires. I do wise that we were able to get the Toyos on the LC like the GX Overtrail does.

The rear of the LC is a bit more boxy for sure. Also, that tow hitch reciever cover is hideous in my opinion. The 4Runner looks like an evolution of all the previous gens prior.

The powertrain of both the Land Cruiser and 4Runner TRD Pro will be a 4cyl 2.4L Turbo hybrid. This engine makes 326HP and 465TQ. The LC gets 25 MPG on the highway, which is very impressive. I hope that the new 4Runner will get the same, if not better.
