My “Official” 6th Gen 4Runner MSRP Prediction

Hey guys! I just made a video on YouTube going over my 6th Gen 4Runner price predictions. Using the 2024 5th Gen 4Runner MSRP and the latest 4th Gen Tacoma pricing as a guide, I analyze how these SUVs have historically aligned and what we can expect for the 6th Gen. Will the TRD Pro and Trailhunter versions match the new Tacoma, or could they be even pricier? I think they will honestly be the same price, due to the lack of features both will have when compared to the Tacoma...but time will tell.

I had originally written in an earlier post that I thought it would be easier to get your hands on a TRDOR Premium than one of the TRDP or trial hunter, but now I'm thinking it'll be just as hard.

70k for a 4Runner is wild, but unfortunately there are people who will pay for it. 55k is a lot as well, but you are going to have so many people who say "look, I'm not paying 70k for a 4R" and it makes it much easier to justify the 55k, especially if the premium ends up having almost everything the TRDP.

I guess I'm in a minority, but I really like the look of the new trucks and I do want one. But I am not looking forward to the shortages of the higher end models when they start rolling out, crossing my fingers that I'm wrong tho.

Those numbers match the numbers I got from a local dealership in an official Toyota document. The last 6 are hybrids. Note that the price premium for the hybrid is apparently $2800, compared to a $3700 premium for the hybrid in the 2024 Tacoma. Wonder why....

I hope the 4Runner Limited gets EverRest Green (Meteor Shower & Bronze Oxide would be good too). Otherwise, it has the lamest color choices and I may pass. It doesn't even have a silver in the list I saw.

What I especially want to know is, what will be the difference(s) between (assume gas models) the TRD-ORP and the Limited (besides the trim and styling differences). Toyota keeps releasing these half-assed lists of bullet points about the models and it leaves you wondering whether they are not including feature x on model y, or did they just not put it in their list.
