Took a trip to Bend, Oregon in my 6th gen..my thoughts (and pics)

I'm convinced that Bend, Oregon is every overlanders dream. Trails for miles upon miles, beautiful scenery, oh and the home of the only Blockbuster video left on the planet! Yes it's a fully functioning blockbuster video complete with Papa Murpheys pizza next door. Nostalgia overload . We stayed in town but were literally minutes from dirt roads that seem to go on forever. The 4runner did great as expected, nothing to hardcore (waiting for my +25 offset wheels to show up because the current -18 is throwing everything up the side of the car) but was enough to get dirty and take in some amazing views.

There's also no lack of selection for beer in Bend. I don't drink but there were also plenty of great non alcoholic drinks available as well along with some amazing food! Definitely planning to come back in the next few months for some camping. Here's some of the photos I took! You can also follow me HERE .

going to have to add this to the bucket list. getting into the off road scene, I live in Texas so the only real off roading is in big bend, a cool 7 hours from where I live. I do want to do that, Moab and the parks around mt Zion here in the next year. maybe get out to Bend in 2026 or 2027.
