Friday I was at my local Toyota dealer to visit their parts department. While there I asked a salesperson if they had any new 4Runners to look at. They had one. I took a few pics.
It stickered at $59,643.00, and there were some add-ons totaling $1,7XX.00, bringing the price to over 60K. That's over twice what I paid for my 5th Gen.
The thought of the 4 banger remains a hasn't been my biggest motivation to own one but I’ll have to drive one some day. My close friend recently bought a brand new 2024 Tacoma from this same dealer. I got to drive his Tacoma. I didn’t particularly care for that new Tacoma. The steering felt weird to me, and it seemed noisier than my car. I suppose it would just take some getting used to.
I’m perfectly satisfied with my 5th Gen. I plan on holding on to it for a while before thinking about getting another vehicle. This was my first time seeing a 6th Gen at a local dealer as I have seen a couple on the road. Here are a few pictures I took.
