My SR-5 has a little over 300 miles. Took it to the dealership and was informed that they will not do anything but document (video) the problem. They will hold the vehicle for a day and try to replicate the squealing noise after it has been sitting over night. The dealership stated that replacing the brake pads will not correct the issue, and that Toyota currently does not know how to remedy the problem; which is the reason for the documentation. They stated that Toyota is not planning to make a recall any time soon because they do not have enough complaints and because it is not a safety issue. BTW, they did not accept my own video of the squealing noise because they related that they would have to video the problem on their own "special app".Anyone else has like a braking noise on reverse on a sr5? Especially in the mornings?
