So the new 4Runner TRD Off Road looks like it will be coming with 33" tires standard from the factory which are wrapped around an 18" wheel. This new OR sports some Michelin LTX Trail tires, 265/70R18. They are about 32.6" tall and 10.4" wide. So not a "true" 33" tire, but it is still by far one of the largest tires we have seen from the factory to be on a production 4Runner. This just means that fitting a larger tire will be super easy.

Good fit for the off road package, bigger tires are always better. I just wish they were all black, and DIDNT have that silver edge going around. I love the TRD Pro wheels

Nice! I'm dreaming of 17" wheels instead of 18" ( way down the road...) . A search resulted in people doing it on their new Tacomas. Hopefully that works with the 4runner breaks.

Great Look Hiken! I'm thinking about doing something similar to my TRD ORP - will end up looking exactly like this if I do these tires and don't change the wheels.
This leads to my question: Did you option TRD ORP wheels on the SR5 or pick them up after?
I'm thinking about selling my ORP wheels (that look like the photo) in favor of TRD Pro wheels to get all black and a slight bit more poke (45 vs 55 offset). So wondering if there is a market for my ORP wheels. Interested in anyone's take on this. And wondering if I could go to 285/70/18 (33.4") with just a 2" leveling kit on the front or would I need to lift the back too.
OTOH this setup looks great and I may copy it exactly.

My SR5 was on QC hold and I found the wheels and fixed running boards on marketplace for $550. They were taken off at the dealer for the guy as he got the all black wheels.

I would keep the ORP wheels and have them powder coated. To me the TRD Pro wheels have too much of an off set and once you throw the more aggressive tries on them those rear fender flares and/or rear quarters will look like a connect the dot book. I believe you would be able to get the 285/70/18 with no issue on the stock ORP wheels but they are about $415 a piece. The 275/70/18’s were 1990ish but Discount Tire bought my 245/70/17’s for $70 each then applied a instant $80 off using my DT charge card gave me another 5% off and 0% interest for 12 months. Walking out with mount balance and 3 years of road hazard certificates pay 1575 out the door.

They really are one of the ugliest set of wheels I have ever seen. Swapped the TRD Pro wheels onto mine within a couple days of picking it up.
