While at Overland Expo East, I was able to see the 4Runner and Tacoma Trailhunter models side by side. This is the first time I’d ever seen them next to each other, and it was cool to see come differences between the two models. I noticed that the 4Runner had some Toyota tires vs the Tacoma that had Goodyears. Also, the 4R didn’t have an ARB rear bumper or recovery hooks. Also, the interior of the 4R was a bit nicer too.
