Hey everyone,
Has anyone found a good way to secure the spare tire on their 6th gen? I’ve had one stolen off a previous vehicle — it takes thieves literally seconds.
I came across Toyota Genuine Part #PT276-34070 Spare Tire Lock, but when I checked with my dealer their system couldn’t find a fitment for the 4Runner — only the Tacoma. Has anyone tried this or know if it fits the 6th gen?
Open to OEM, aftermarket, or DIY solutions. Don’t want to learn this lesson twice!
