Regular or Premium Gas for 6th Gen 4Runner?

What gas are you all running in your new 6th Gen 4Runners? I have been only running regular fuel in mine for the several tanks that I have filled it up with. Thankfully the new 4R doesn't "require or recommend" premium like the Land Cruiser 250 does with the same 2.4L turbo setup. I've read that some people in the 4th Gen Tacoma world have ran premium fuel in their trucks and noticed a decent power bump and also increase in MPG as well. Just curious if any of you have tried this for the new 4R.

I've been using regular as well, I've tried premium once and noticed the engine became louder, not sure why, but I tried it once.
Usually using premium is better and cleaner for engine I believe, not sure though.

I looked up Octane for an 11:1 Compression Engines on Google, and they recommend Premium Gas. No Idea why the Land Cruiser would run this and now the 4Runner. If gas ever gets cheaper, I might make the switch.

All I’ve been using is regular but making sure it is top tier certified. Haven’t had a problem and have been getting 22 on the highway.

Gas is high enough without paying more for it when you don’t need to lol.
87 does right by me.. getting 22-24 mpg and runs great
