I came across this Youtube video of an owmer who recently got his 6th Gen 4Runner. The bummer was that it had no HomeLink, which he felt was a must have. There has been very little info online regarding the install, especially removing the shroud, so for anyone who has had a time time with the installation, this video would be a great watch for you.

After watching this video, I'm sure it would be very easy for you to have the Rear View Mirror Installed. He also purchased the Gentex Mirror too. For anyone interested, you can watch the video via the link below.
