Well, as you can tell, I am real excited to be here on the forum. I just picked up my 6th Gen 4Runner and have only driven once since I picked it up last Friday. I am still trying to understand
all of the dealers options as well digging into the features this beast has. All I really asked for was gasoline only, no 3rd row seat, 4 wheel drive capable, in a heritage blue color. What I got was a loaded vehicle
that had not even hit the docks yet, and only 1 dealership was going to get it. All the other ones told me 1-3 months before they might get one. Well I was thinking that possibly the tariffs might kick in as well.
But I left it in God's hands as to what I should buy and when. Well that has happened. I have a peace about the whole process with God's guidance.
Now I am in the process of moving all of the items that were in my previous vehicle and either improve upon them or just move them over. The thing I will miss is the huge under seat storage I had in my previous vehicle, but I will make due with the cargo space and the cover that slides over it, and organizer. I am in the process of buying things like tire pressure gauge, air compressor, etc., and then over the next couple of days understand the options and how they work. My 2013 vehicle had none of that fancy technology other than a cd and bluetooth.
You will hear more from me as I also need to figure out what accessories I need like the leather key fob, all weather cargo mat, skid plates, and also trying to figure out which is the best front grill cattle guard to protect the vehicle for collisions.
Talk soon.
