I’m closing in on buying a TRD Off-Road Premium, and I’m conflicted about the Integrated Trailer Brake Controller. Currently don’t do a lot of towing, my fiancés dad has a boat trailer with surge brakes, but she’s made it well known she would like our own boat at some point in the future. From the little info I’ve seen so far, people have either said there is no brake controller wiring harness for any model built without the tow package, or that there is a harness but it uses a new proprietary connector. Can anyone confirm or deny this? If possible I’d prefer to go the aftermarket route when they become available as it would be cheaper than the $500+ tow package, but I wouldn’t want to deal with the hassle of running a harness across the length of the truck

Official Pricing will be released this fall, however with some 5th Gen 4Runner pricing and comparative data against the 2025 Tacoma and J250 Land Cruiser - we can make some assumptions. The biggest factor in price will be the upgrade options for premium models. With the 2025 Tacoma price live on Toyota's website, we can make a correlation between the two. 2025 Tacoma Upgrade Pricing TRD SPORT Upgrade Package with Options: $6,255 TRD SPORT Premium Package with Options: $8,690 Audio Multimedia Upgrade with Options: $1,490 Heated Front Seats with Options: $645 Based on some of these upgrade options, we can get closer to the base price and premium package upgrade options. Of course we are just making assumptions here, but what do you think? Is this realistic pricing or no? Updated with the V3 Pricing Expectations:

TRD PRO Heritage Grill Swap

Hi guys, current 5th gen owner, I’ve seen alot of people do these sort of grill swaps with the 5th gen’s, does anyone know if the upper grill is able to be swaped or is it the entire front end?

Back story is I want to put my wife my wife in the new 4Runner, she’s driven my pro but where we live there alot of variable winter driving and she has slide the back end out and is not confident when you have to switch out from 2H to 4H. So that leaves me with going with Full time 4 wheel H models (limited specifically ), I actual have been on on the wait list for a Lexus GX550 for about 6 months now but am starting to get cold feet about it given the cost,I’m leaning towards getting a limited model and modifying it OEM+ with some 18in trd rims, exhaust ,intake and eventually a lift down the road , I hate the upper grill insert on the limited model and would love to put either the heritage grill or trd off road just for esthetics. I need to know because I see the heritage color is not offered in the pro line up and that was the color I was looking at so if it’s the front end swap I’d have to go with the underground color (both awesome regardless). I haven't seen any info on this on any of the forms, was going to ask my dealership but figured you guys would probably know.
