Leveled my 2025 Trd sport in my driveway following the instructions included with Toytec leveling kit. Called for loosening the lower control arm bolts and it threw my alignment way off. Front it 100yrds and it started throwing all kinds of codes for lane assist, hill descent, pre collision etc. brought it to Toyota they say they don’t know what’s wrong with it and it will take 4hrs of diagnostic to start with on the laser rack to see if they can figure it out. Is this not a common mod? Did I do something horribly wrong? Anyone else have any tips on what I should do to have this diagnosed or should I just hand Toyota a blank check?

Copy that, you mentioned.... throwing all kinds of codes for lane assist... was just curious to see what the DTCs said.

It's common to get some issues after lift kits.

Did you get it aligned right after, or did you just take it to Toyota right after because of errors?

Sounds like an alignment alone might fix it. I would have tried that first before taking it to Toyota with Diag service needs over alignment needs.

Keep us posted.

Yes I dropped it off at the biggest tire shop in my town that did alignments hoping they could resolve it. The got it straight bust said “we don’t have the technology to get the warnings to go away”.

I’ve contacted a couple places and they seem to think a sensor angle calibration will resolve the issues now. I had an appointment to get that don’t fingers crossed it’s that’s simple.

Did you try just resetting the battery after getting alignment? Sometimes that just clears everything out.
I pulled terminals for a few mins I’m going to try like an hr when I get home.

I did the Peak Suspension 2.25 Preload Lift Kit and Upper Control arms and mine never threw a code. You might have disconnected something on accident while installing it. I took it to a actual lift shop that also does alignments.
