Real world MPG On The 6th Gen 4Runner?

16mpg, mostly normal mode. Plain SR5 non-hybrid, original street tires. Suburban NJ, lot of lights and hills. Only on my 2nd tank yet.

22 MPG lifetime avg driving in sport mode, but 95% of the time like a grandma. 5% like an asshole. Almost 4K miles, probably a 60/40 split, city/hwy.

I'm currently at 21.7 on my new 4Runner. This has been accompanied by a bit of city driving lately. I haven't reset my MPG at all since I filled up during my road trip which was about 300 miles or so ago. It has only gone down about .5 or so in the around 100 miles around town I have been driving.

TRD ORP Heritage Blue.
Hi Jon, have you zeroed out your meter or checked since your road trip; e.g more about town driving?

I'm getting 14.5 mpg with my non-hybrid 2025 4Runner ORP in suburban driving (Not stop-and-go or rush hour traffic); usually 2 to 10 mile trips mixed freeway and surface; trips to Costco etc. 18 inch wheels with factory Falken Wild Peak A/T. Normal driving mode. I don't think I'm lead footing it. Third tank, all of them the same 14.5 mpg.

Edited brain fart "normally aspirated" to "non-hybrid".

I didn't think there was any such thing as a NA 2025? They all have a turbo.

25 limited gas with 100% city ko3 tires on trail hunter rims normal driving mode getting 19L/100KM and a full tank estimate says 380KM not racing all the time mostly regular brisk driving I don’t get how everyone getting like 12L/100KM

17.6 MPG with Dissent low pro bump/Superwinch, Westcott low pro roof rack, sliders are next so I will probably drop to 17 MPG. The Toyota miss, lack of an increase in gas mileage

Anybody wanna post their range on a full tank? I can barely get 300mi with the cruise set at 70.
Same here, rarely reaching 300. I've around 1400 miles on it, and still on 16.1 mpg, it varies around 16, earlier it was 16.7 and that was the best. Wondeing about 23 mpg

~1200 miles in on my iForce Max Platinum, I'm getting 20.8 in mixed city/ highway driving since the break in oil change. I'm hoping that will bump up as break in continues.

Currently at 17.7mpg avg on toyo at3s in stock 265/70/18. Not as good as I was hoping for to be honest. Just about the same as the 5th gen...
I just picked up my first 4 runner (2025 Off-Road) and I'm up to 17.7 myself after a trip around DC's beltway. Curious how people are getting 20 plus.

I'm getting 15.5mpg with a mix of highway and city driving in normal mode, but I also have some extra weight I've bolted on:

285 X 70 X 17 Toyo Open Country RT C Rated
2 inch peak suspensions lift and UCA
Method 305 rims
Westcott Design Rock Sliders
CBI Off Road Stealth Bumper
DV8 Steal Skid plates
