Making the Dash Cache Actually Usable

Funny story, but I actually stumbled upon this product before I even knew that this cubby even existed in my new 26 TRD-ORP (one week later). I literally got in my truck to see the proof LOL. I guess it is just in a weird spot that is tough to see when the first week driving excitement is still fresh.

But having a little pull-out drawer/compartment makes a whole lot more sense for this spot. Not sure what else you would be able to stash in the cache without something like this.

Hmm, I’ve had my 26 TRD-ORP for about a week now myself and have been wondering what to do with that little cubby. Was thinking maybe I could figure out a way to stash the fob in there while driving….maybe this will allow me to do that. Thanks for sharing.

Anyone have any other ideas for where they put their fob when they get in? I’m not a keys in the pocket kind of guy and only carry the fob (no other keys). My other vehicles have little compartments that almost seem meant for their fobs.

I picked up the TRD Pro, and the Trailer control is there. but the little drawer looks like a great feature
