So I added XPEL PRIME XR PLUS Window Film to my new 6th Gen just in time for Florida Spring and Summer. Holy smokes does it look good! I'm a big fan of tinting the windshield too. I wanted all the glass to match perfectly, while also not being too dark.

The total for my whole 4R tint job in Dallas TX, was about $900.

Specs:
40% Windshield
20% Front Windows
70% Rear Windows

What is Ceramic Window Tint?
Ceramic window tint is a premium window film that uses microscopic ceramic particles to block UV and infrared rays, offering superior heat rejection, UV protection, and clarity compared to traditional dyed window tints.

Comparison to Traditional Tint:
Unlike traditional dyed tint, which uses dyes to absorb sunlight, ceramic tint blocks UV rays using the ceramic particles, preventing the tint from fading or turning purple over time.

Cost:
Ceramic tint is generally more expensive than traditional tint, but its superior performance and durability make it a worthwhile investment for those seeking maximum heat and UV protection.

Does 0% on rear windows mean no film applied (i.e. just the factory tint that is inside the glass, which is fairly dark already), or does XPEL actually have a 100% VLT film (i.e. clear) that was applied to all 7 windows behind the main doors?

They have a clear ceramic film that was applied to the rears. Sorry for the confusion!

Just got the warranty paper work and it was actually 70% in the rears
